Congress and the Parliament ksramesh 4/20/2001 7:17:13 PM The Congress Party blocked the Parliament demanding resignation of the Govt. The Govt was prepared for any probe and discussion. The Congress Party did not budge. The Govt ordered a judicial probe. The Congress does not want resignation, but a JPC, and still stalls Parliament. The Railway Budget passed without a discussion. The Finance Bill also faces the same predicament. If this is not arrogance, then what is? |

Every party is playing populist politics to the max... the non populist party will be eventual winner... INC will come by default... Third front is history... when guys like Naidu n Karunanidhi supporting such a menace... n so they will be held responsible for the mess... a lotta damage already done... Atom Bomb bhajpayee govt is gone only if a dozen or so Naidu effigies are burnt by the muslims in Andhra. |

If 'every' has a basis for his claim that Congress men and women have been a 'bunch born outside of wedlock' pl come out with the facts or refrain from comment on their parentage in the future ! Anywhere in the world a government of some moral fibre, would have immediately resigned after witnessing greed and venality of the nature tehelka has captured on tape. It would have no need for further debates or wake up calls. In this event where should the blame for the uproar in parliament lie ? To my mind the blame is with a government that has sacrificed probity in public life to cling to the loaves and fishes of office. Come on 'every' give us reasonable debate. Dont worry Tathagat... you don't need finit yaar it is too expensive for the type of 'Khaki entities' you have in mind ... hate thier staple diet is in itself self destructing though it manifestly numbs the reasoning power at first! |
